A Evening at the Beach

My mom was out of town, my dad got done with work early, and big B was able to get off early, and low tide was in the late afternoon, so what do you do... you go to the beach! My dad showed us a beach we had never been too and we loved it. The kids had a great time hiking around looking at ocean life and the adults enjoyed looking a the beautiful houses and views. It was a great evening!

Trian Ride

For one of B's field trips with preschool they took a train ride to the beach, stayed a little bit and then caught the train back home. C especially loved the train part.
We were waiting for the train at the wrong spot, so all the kids had to run to catch it.

This is the boys boarding the train. My mom had to take them so I could make a doctors appointment. It was quite sad to send them off and not being able go with them. I'm glad my mom could experience it with them.

They were also anxious to go to the beach and play. I can only imagine the train gets boring after a while, however it was only a 13 minute train ride. They had a great time.

My Sweet C!!

I got C's 2 year old pictures taken the other day and these are just a few of them. This is a good pic of how my boy usually looks.
I loved the innocence in this one.

The photographer had a live bunny and it was a big hit.

He was so cooperative during the pictures. My baby is so grown up!

A Trip to the Zoo

For Valentines Day we took a trip to the zoo. We had a great time and were able to see some things we have never seen before.
Our sweet boys! The whole time C would call an animal baby, mama, or dada according to what size it was.

The gorillas were fun to sit and watch but I think our favorite was the elephants. It was a good way to celebrate the day of love.

C's Birthday

Here is my big birthday boy. Isn't he handsome?!!
He took cupcakes to share with his nursery class.

We also had a family party. It was on Super Bowl Sunday so it was a football party. The cake was a cute football but that didn't last long. Here C is enjoying the once football.

He got some great presents from his grandparents and cousins. C has loved his birthday week! Now if I can stop calling him my baby and try to switch to big boy. (I think it will help with the baby coming.)

IT'S A...

very healthy, thumb sucking baby. Sorry to all those who would like to know the sex of the baby but we'll let you know come June. This picture is of baby D sucking it's thumb, on it's back with the head on the right and legs bent on the left. (Details are for those who have a hard time reading ultra sound pictures.)
So far the baby is healthy and no signs of ascites or hydrops. (what C had in uturo) But we'll have more ultra sounds to stay on top of it. This picture is of the stomach and long legs.

C Insists on Growing Up

Well, either my baby knows he's about to turn two or maybe he's figured out there's another baby on the way but two weeks ago he got really hard. (hard for him) He started climbing out of his crib so we took down the crib but then it started a whole new set of problems, getting him to sleep in a "big boy bed". This one day was worth at least part of the pain he has caused. I had answered the door and left him in my room and about 15 minutes later, when I was done at the door, I couldn't find him. The last place I looked was his room and this is what I found. He tucked himself in and fell asleep. Can't say this has happened again but it was still cute.
These are just random pictures of the other kids having another dance party but this time they chose to dress up.
