When we heard there was going to be an eclipse my parents found a way for us to see it.
This picture is hard to see but it's the kids with their cereal box view finders. If you make cut the cereal box right and put white paper in the back of it then you can see the shadow of the eclipse. It worked really well.
D even got the hang of it.
Then a couple showed up with a telescope that had the right lens to be able to view it and we got a better view.
Here is the best shot I got with my camera. We had a lot of fun and it was a great learning experience for the kids.
