The Getty Museum

Before Big B and I left LAX for our trip we stopped by the Getty with the kids and my mom. They had a great but small kid area. The kids had a fun time looking at the pictures and interacting with them and then going to the real pictures in the museum and already knowing about it.
 They got to make masks,
read books in this big bed,
and then write on the walls.
When we were done we ate in the cafeteria and then headed over to Diddy Riese for some ice cream sandwiches. YUM!

Discovery Museum

We headed over to the discovery museum to check out their exhibits. Of course D loved the Dora and Diego part the best.
It was the last week of the Star Wars exhibit That was the main reason for our visit and I'm glad we got to see it.
The kids loved seeing all the characters and reading the details about them.
They had fun messing around with the hands on things too.
It was a good time had by all. (Even if A looks like she is in pain. She has this thing about smiling for pictures and it's driving me crazy.)

Happy Easter

Well I guess our Easter wasn't that happy. A and B woke up in the middle of the night throwing up. They didn't even get to go to church. Because our church is early and the kids were sick we didn't even to the hunt till the afternoon. A still wasn't int he mood but eventually found hers.
B found his pretty quick and was happy with what he found.
C needed a clue to find his.
D's was in the pantry so she found hers before we left for church but was good to put it back till we got home. I really wanted a good picture with all the kids in their Sunday best but I guess that will have to wait.

Pre Easter Festivities

The day before Easter we always go down to my parents house to do their community egg hunt. The kids have a blast and really make out with some good candy.
Here are the girls after they filled their buckets.
These 3 cuties did great waiting for their hunt to start. As you can see it's not really a hunt and there are very few eggs.
Before the candy grabbing began the kids got some painting done and also did the little petting zoo.
A great tradition that we'll keep doing till our kids are to old to participate.

Neighborhood Ride to Ruby's

The neighborhood put together a bike ride to Ruby's. Table for 26 please! This picture doesn't even show everyone. Can you see all the helmets?
Trying to get that many bikes all locked up took a lot of work.
The trail we take was overgrown from winter rain but it was so pretty.
We love riding our bikes and being together.
