Getting our Christmas tree.

The hunt for the perfect tree!
We found it! One side is a little bare but we stick our tree in a corner anyways.

Chopping it down.

Taking it home. We weren't sure if it was that great of a tree but when we got it back to Cali and got it up it was perfect. Our best tree yet. I'll have pictures of it decorated a little later.

Thanksgiving in Panaca

We had an amazing trip to Panaca. One of the many things we did was visit the sand dunes. This is big B jumping the bush. Something they did growing up. He did well, especially at the end after a few trys.
The kids had a fun time running down the dunes. That is after they got over their traumatic crash on the 4 wheeler. Big B didn't realize how big the drop was and the 4 wheeler tipped over on him, A, and B. Everyone was safe. Big B had some bruises.

I think C had more fun in this sand then at the beach. It must be the company of his cousin.

Here is a picture of most of the cousins. We all took a hike together. It was so much fun.

Part of the hike was in the back of a truck. I think we got about 22 people in the back. There was one scary part where I think one wheel was barely on the ground because the road got so narrow. The kids walked that part on the way out.

Thanksgiving in Panaca

This was the best trip to Panaca I think I have ever had. We did so much! Thanksgiving in Panaca usually means football but not this time. This is us by a waterfall we all hiked to.
We went through Condor Canyon and stopped in this cave to get all orange with dirt.

We enjoyed many rides on the 4 wheelers.

Grandpa took B out for a ride by the house.

And of course Brent had to go hunting and let the kids shoot the gun. (C didn't shoot it.) I had such a good time. I hope this starts new traditions of what we do when we go to Panaca.

A's Thanksgiving at school

A had a great thanksgiving feast with her class. It was really yummy, I think she even had thirds.
The first grade did a play it was called Tom Turkey. A was Jill Jones, which was a speaking part.

The first grade is so big that they put three plays on with three classes being in each play. That's nine first grade classes all together.

We have a...

bun in the oven!! I'm due the first week of June. It's a little overwhelming to think of me as a mom of four but we are still excited for baby "D". If you have any great "D" names let us know. (We don't care boy or girl, I stole the picture from a friend...thanks Laura!)

We had a few days off of school and decided to take a trip to the Wild Animal Park.

We saw lots of animals but the lorikeets were the only ones we got to hold.

C loves birds and couldn't get enough of this one.

We had a great time with grandma and our cousins!

Halloween Fun!

A was a spider, B was a Pokemon character, and C was an elephant. C really got the hang of it and would hardly eat anything but candy for the first few days after Halloween. We did a lot of partying this year. A had a fun dance class and a class party. B had a class party. We all went to trunk or treat and also had an alley party. Big B and I went to a really fun Halloween party and had to dress up (which is not like us at all). So we just went with the theme of the party... Old Hollywood.

These are a few pictures from the alley party. We had lots of food.

A and B got to try bobbing for apples. We had a busy Halloween.

New York With the Girls

Nine women, no kids or husbands, and one big city. What could be more fun?
We were gone for six days and were able to fit in everything. This is a long post and still doesn't do the trip justice.
We saw three shows. The best one was In the Heights. I met my cousin and she told us how to get front row tickets for cheap and it worked! Four of us won the raffle which got us all front row. Loved it!!!!

We also saw Chicago...

and Legally Blonde.

New York Con't

We did lots of out sight seeing via double decker bus.
It was a good way to be able to see everything and a little quicker too.

Central Park

Miss Liberty (the staute not me)

Having a good ole hot dog from a guy on the street before going to the Met.

New York Con't

Mainly for my brother. The Soup Kitchen from Seinfield. The orignial has shut down but there is a chain now.
There was lots of eating, mostly desserts. Most of my money was spent on food.

We had a friend who just moved to NY meet us. She brought along her new baby. (The only baby allowed on the trip and it was only for a few hours.)

It was a great trip with great friends!!

Family Pictures

Well this was suppose to be after the next picture but anyways these are my close girl friends Brooke and Kami. Thanks for getting pictures of my family!
I've been so bad at pictures since C has been born. He is now closer to two then one and I still haven't got his one year old pictures taken. Needless to say this is our first family picture since C. We went with some friends to try and save some money by taking each others pictures. Don't be suprised if this is what the Christmas card looks like.

A's Hair With Rollers

So we decided to try rollers in A's hair. They were the kind you sleep in. Because her hair is still so thin and fine I thought I should use the smallest rollers. Well we used the smallest rollers and made sure they were in tight so they wouldn't fall out when she slept and this is was the result...
It was cute but I think we will try the bigger rollers next time.

More Firsts

A has finally started dance! It took awhile because I'm a little to cheap and I don't want her to experience burn out. But we put her in a preballet class because she thinks she already knows how to do ballet. (I've taught her very little in the kitchen) Hey what ever makes the girl comfortable. I'm sure you'll get an update, especially when it comes to recital time.
B has started preschool. (PreK if you ask him) We are doing the same thing we did with A for two years and with B last year. Hopefully it will be a great year. The group is doing things a little different then in the past. But my group has some wonderful moms and that's what counts the most.

Some firsts and a last.

A's first day of school. I felt like I was sending her off to college. She is now a way from me more then she is with me. Good thing we still have plenty of time before she really leaves me.
Here she is meeting her teacher for the first time.
B also had a first, he started soccer and had his first game.
Big B's brother came to town and so we took his family to the beach. I'm thinking it will be our last time til next summer.
Ohhh, how precious.
