Last Beach Day Before School

Cousins are the best of friends.
Perfect way to end the summer.

I love this picture of the two oldest grandkids just talking and walking.

Frozen, Sound of Music, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Party

Lorelei had yet again an amazing birthday party. Maria, from the Sound of Music came to talk, sing and play with the kids.
 She did face painting too!
 Everyone was memorized by her.
 The little Clark girls.
Next was the Frozen part of the party. Bubbles instead of snow. So much fun!
There was a little Charlie and the Chocolate Factory too.
The bubbles were a big hit with everyone.
 I mean everyone!
 Those cute faces!!
 Still playing!
 Then Elsa showed up!
A made this up for grandpa.

Watch Out Middle School!

B is going to be in middle school! AHHHH! We took him for registration so he could get his schedule, books, PE clothes and learn to use his locker.
I think he's pretty excited!

Summer People

We had a visit from our old home teacher that moved to Texas. Brother Cronin!
E was having horse withdrawals from Utah so we went to see some.
 The boys reunited!
While Tiffany was in town we did our traditional birthday dinner out.
My blond boys of summer! (Except B)

Beach Days of Summer

Don't tell him he isn't big! All summer he wanted to carry his own boogie board.
My view for at least once a week all summer long!
The best view is all 5 of them playing happily together at the beach.
No summer us complete till you've had a s'mor at grandmas.
 Lounging with friends.
Not that big yet Mr. E!
Happy place for both of us.
Ice cream on the beach with family even better!
A getting ready to jump off the pier for junior life guards.
Part of her support team cheering her on.
 Ready...
 JUMP!
 She made it, phew!
The rest of her support crew.
 Another day, another beach.
 Crab hunting success.
Taking a break to warm up.
 Riding the waves!
By the end of summer these kids are so brave in the water. I love it! Come again soon summer!

Mathews Reunion

The view of our camp area the first night. I think that's a sign of a great reunion!
 Cousins everywhere you look!
I love that E has 3 cousin within 4 months of him. So fun to watch them play!
D and Jackson taking a break.
Jenny and I got brave and went for a swim in the freezing water.
After we were used to the water we braved the diving board. Brought me back to the days of the pool in my backyard.
 Awe how cute...diving off together.
 Cousins at it again.
This boy wanted his parents so bad it he even braved the cold.
Warming up in the sun. I always wish I had more pictures. The reunion was so much fun. I love being apart of such a big family! I'm so grateful for the examples they are to me and the kids.
One last trip to the shaved ice stand.
Until next time Utah!!
