Random Cuteness

A friend took this picture of D and sent it to me and I think it's such a cute one!
 Breakfast buddies.

Cousins in town and about to share dessert.
 Pizookie, YUM!
While waiting for the older kids to get done with piano these cuties did a little nature hunt.
 Cousins make the best friends.
Cute boy all ready for church.

He wanted some cheese so he helped himself. I can't seem to child proof the house enough. He climbs up everything so nothing is out of reach.
Dinner at BJ's means pizookie for dessert.
D got to be star of the week and got to bring the class pig home for a day.

New Years at the Cabin

This year we drove up to the cabin so we could stop at Big B's nephews wedding on the way home. On our way up we made a stop in St. George to have lunch and dessert with cousins. These two have so much fun together!
 Brothers with their kids.
After a few days in the cabin we got the kids out by seeing Annie. Everyone enjoyed it but especially the little girls.
A little brotherly wrestling. No cabin fever here! They stay entertained.
Looks like C got the upper hand.
SKIING!! My dad always does such a good job getting the younger kids skiing. C loved wearing grandpas big furry hat from Russia. It kept him warm as the snow was coming down.
 The Mathews skiers!
I don't know if you can read the temperature on the car but it says -18!! So cold!
Our sledding hill across the street from the cabin. It was a little cold for some but we still managed a few rides down.
Poor E was so cold and didn't love the big hill after the snow got him in his face.
E did like watching the kids outside playing but he rather be out with them. He would stay out there for so long and we had to force him in to warm up.
On New Years day we made it back to St. George for Tyler and Camille's wedding. It was such a busy two days I didn't get any pictures of the wedding. But these cute almost two year old cousins had fun together.
Love that my kids have so many cousins especially close in age.
After a day in St. George for the wedding we headed to Panaca the next day for the reception. We left right after the reception and drove all the way home. The kids were not happy about the short time we had in Panaca. We love it there.

Christmas

Only in California can you have a mud fight on Christmas Eve. My parents have started working on their yard so there was lots of dirt to turn into mud.
Everyone loved it and had so much fun getting dirty.
Things got a little crazy but man was it fun to watch. (No I did not participate.)
We put some warm water in the bucket so naturally E wanted in.
More warm water. It didn't get them very clean but they were happy.
Nothing like a little mud to help celebrate Christmas.
Warm water and he doesn't have to share.
My oldest brothers family spent the night at my parents house with us so there were just a few presents;)
Not very many pictures of Christmas day but everyone was happy.
Oh to be a kid again.
It was an another amazing year and we are so blessed.

Christmas Performances

Lots of Christmas performances this year. A started us off with a band concert.
We then had a piano recital. This is B and he did great!
A also did a wonderful job.
C got nervous and ended up not going up to play his song. Something we'll have to work on before the next recital. Such a cute, talented crew!
B had a band concert also. I was pretty impressed with how well they sounded for how little they have been playing.
Next up is the Singer Company's performance.
D just loves Singers Company! It's the highlight of her week.
A little blurry but I love how she knew where we were sitting so she could point right at us:)
 My cute little performer!
She loves Singers Company so much she wore her outfit to her school performance.
Big B even came to see her. He doesn't make it to all school performances so this was pretty special.

Random Cutness

This kid rarely makes it to the park.
I thought I'd document it, especially since he was so cute.
As long as he's held he's happy.
Our autumn came just in time for Christmas. At least it makes it feel like we had a season change.
Daddy's home from his golf trip to Pebble Beach!! I think the kids are pretty happy to see him.
No he's not the best helper when it's time to cook dinner.

O Christmas Tree

All my little snowmen out looking for a tree.
We have really missed getting our Christmas tree from Panaca. Hopefully this is the last year and then we'll be back to finding our tree in the forest of Panaca. Home Depot wasn't really the adventure we are use to. B insisted on hauling the tree to the truck all by himself so he could feel like it was harder then it really was. At least we had a pretty and nice smelling tree.

Rain, Rain Stay All Day

We haven't got much rain around here lately so when we saw rain we couldn't help but go and play in it.
I don't think the umbrellas helped them stay dry.
Even after it stopped E wasn't done so he found the gutter with water to play in.
