Vetrans Day Injuries

We were off to the beach to for our day off of school and as I was parking the older kids ran ahead to start playing. Before I even paid for parking my SIL came back with C. He was climbing the lifeguard tower and tripped and fell off. We think he blackout for a few seconds because he can't remember anything but the older kids said he landed on the metal legs that support the tower. As soon as I saw his ear I knew we had to go to the ER.
This is his ear after it was cleaned up a little.
He had to get a CAT scan to rule out head injuries.
He was so brave! He didn't even flinch for the IV.
We waited for a long time for the plastic surgeon to show up and when he did he got to work sticking C up. C did not do well with that part so they ended up putting him to sleep.
He was a trooper and ended up with 8 stitches.
He got them out about a week later and has a nice scar to remind us of that great day or minutes at the beach.

Beach Day

We had the best beach weather for this time of year so E and I decided to go. He had a blast!
The beach is so pretty in the winter.
What would a trip to the beach be without exploring the rocks?!
A little halloween mixed with Thanksgiving.
It's the new style.

Halloween

 Picking out pumpkins.
A few nerds I found on the alley.
This halloween we had Deb (from Napoleon Dynamite), a nerd, a skeleton, little red riding hood, an elephant and a dad.
 Napoleon and Deb
Little girls have the easiest costumes and look so darn cute!
There goes Deb with her caboodle.
E loved halloween and got the hang of it real quick. He kept trying to get us to take him out again. He's no dummy!

Mathews Women Get Away!

The Mathews women actually pulled it off…they got away from reality and partied! Well some of us anyways. We are missing 3 sisters but getting us all together would take a miracle. We had a great time together even if it was just a short weekend. We saw Wicked, a favorite of mine.
Oh ya, we were in living it up in Vegas!
 A selfie of course.
Getting ready for the show to start.
 We had great seats.
Before the show we had dinner at a nice adult type restaurant and no kids or husbands were there!
It was so nice to talk with all these amazing women with no interruptions.
 Fancy!
Loved every minute of this weekend.
 Pedicures all around!
 So relaxing!
Another dinner!
It was so nice to shop, eat, exercise, pamper, and just be with each other. I really hope this happens again but with all of us!

This Kid!

 This kid loves his broccoli!
 This kid is silly:)
 This kid is crazy!
 This kid is too cute!
This kid likes to take pictures.
This kid loves his mommy and I love him!

Halloween at Disneyland

Poor grandpa getting tackled by his grandkids. (ok so this isn't Disneyland but I had to throw it in there.)
My brothers families, along with my parents and us went to Disneyland to do their Halloween party. We had a great time. I love this picture with cousins.
Disney really does have great parades. Here's Ana.
 And don't forget Elsa.
 Or Mickey!
They have great firework shows too.
 Cute happy girl.
Some people get a little crazy if they stay to long!

Big Cleaning Job

I can't remember what I've shared here but I started a construction cleaning company with my friend and all summer we had a job in LA cleaning an apartment building. It was 78 units, lots of common areas, and 5 stories high. We cleaned it about 3 different times. Some areas more than that. Most units were only 1 bedroom. It was a great project for us to start on. We learned a lot and are ready to grow.
The picture is of the hallway.
 The dinning and living room.
 Looking back into the kitchen.
 The bathroom.
 One of the common rooms.
We had to climb the scaffolding to get the outside windows and awnings clean. Just a little scary!
