Tanaka Farms

C, D, and I made a trip to Tanaka Farms for their oh so delicious strawberries. I think they both enjoyed every minute of it.
You can tell how much D enjoyed it by this picture. She made sure to squeeze the strawberry before she would eat it.
C became the perfect little picker. The tour guide told us how to pick them and when we got our chance to pick our own he kept on telling me how to do it. I was also impressed with how many of the vegetables he tried.
I love that I am starting to make a little more time to hang out with the younger two like I use to do with the older two. Hopefully life slows down just a little so I have more time to enjoy adventures like this one.

San Fran!!

To celebrate our 10 year anniversary we spent 24 hours in San Fran. (I found $9 tickets, each way!) It ended up being an expensive $9 but well worth it. Big B got a really nice hotel and they also upgraded us. This is the view from the bedroom.
This is the living room area. It made me feel bad that we didn't have the whole family there to use up the space or that we didn't stay longer to use it. But it was still really nice.
We rented bikes to ride across the Golden Gate Bridge. It was awesome and we both recommend it. We will do that one again.
After a nice long bike ride what better to do then to go to Ghiradelli Square and have some chocolate. That's another thing we will do again:)
Next was to go see the curviest street. I wish we could have drove down it.
It was such a great trip and I can't wait to go back. I definitely left wanting to do more but at the same time was so tired and ready to go home. It was a nice was a nice way to celebrate.

10 Years!!

Can you believe it has been 10 years?!
When we did that day trip into LA we stopped at the temple and walked around with the kids. A took this picture of us. Just a little older looking then the other one:)
The past 10 years has had a lot of changes including these cute ones, A,B,C and D. Who knew life could change so drastically? (For the better of course.)
Can't leave the temple grounds without getting a picture in front of this famous tree. The past 10 years have been a great start to our journey together and I can't wait to see what the next 10 bring. You know it was good when it went by sooo fast.

Happy Birthday B!

Mr. B just celebrated a birthday and this year he got a party with friends. It was based around his favorite animal, Zack the leopard.
He definitely got spoiled with presents!
This is most the boys that came to his party. It was at the park and we had our bounce house there too.
Here he is with the party in the back. We also had pizza, chips, watermelon, and cake. There was a treasure hunt to find their goody bags. Everyone had a great time, especially B. After the party we went out to dinner with my family to an old favorite, Yin Chins.

Day Trip to LA

We had to go to LAX to buy plane tickets for our summer vacation so we thought we would make a day of it. We aren't very good at exploring all the things to do in the wonderful area we live in but after this day trip we are sure going to do it more often. There is a great, cheap ice cream sandwich place we had to try. We waited in line at least 30 minutes but it was worth it. We got 5 ice cream sandwiches and 2 shaved ice for $11.50. YUM!
We were enjoying our food on the grass of UCLA when we remembered the Festival of Books was being held on campus. So we headed over with only 30 minutes left and happened to stumble upon one of my favorite kids authors, David Shannon. We bought a book and he signed it for us! I wish we had more time at the Festival but my wallet was fine to leave. I love books, kid books, and would have spent lots of money. We ended the day walking 3rd street promenade and Santa Monica Pier. It was a great day!!
